Careers advice, help with training, apprenticeships, employment and personal development is delivered by a network of advisers in your area.
All advisers are fully trained to support and advise you. They can give you information, advice and guidance on:

  • qualifications and subjects
  • choosing a sixth form, college or apprenticeship
  • choosing a career
  • job applications – CVs, interviews, etc.
  • higher education (university)
  • other issues, such as health, relationships, housing and money.

You will find advisers in schools, colleges, one stop shops and many other places, like drop-in and youth centres.

Please note that the term ‘adviser’ could refer to a careers adviser or personal adviser but this will depend on where you live.
